Stephen Francis Grieco

Stephen Francis Grieco, 67, of Mount Airy, passed away on April 9, 2025, at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Born on March 5, 1958, in Rockville Center Long Island, New York, he was the son of Margaret Joyce (Bowles) Grieco and the late Victor Joseph Grieco.

Stephen was a graduate of High Point High School and attended Indian River College in Florida. He was a skilled craftsman specializing in concrete work.

Surviving in addition to his mother are siblings Terry Grieco and Loretta Grieco; nephews Nicholas, Richard, and Charles Ward; great nieces and nephews Nathan, Asher, Elienna, and Evan Ward; and extended family Ann Crawford, Susan Grieco, Greg Grieco, Ann Marie Grieco, Kim Latham, Sheri Baumel, James Smith, Marie Cerrito, Eileen Familia, Dominic Totaro, Sr. Dominic Totaro, Jr., Edward Totaro, and Charles Totaro.

He was predeceased by sister Jennifer Grieco.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd, Mount Airy 21771.

Services and interment will be private later in New York.
