Mr. Stephan F. Klein, 72 of Braddock Heights, Maryland passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the Kline Hospice House.
Born January 17, 1943 in Frederick, Maryland he was the son of the late Alvin and Annabel Klein.
He was a 1962 graduate of Frederick High School and a graduate of the University of Maryland.
He worked for the Army Map Service, which was the premier map making agency for the Department of Defense and he also worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency until his retirement.
He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, The Elks Club, The Columbia Masonic Lodge #58 and the Burkittsville Ruritan Club.
He is survived by his sister, Barbara A. Harrison and husband John (Jack) Harrison, Jr. of Beltsville, MD, nephew, John K. Harrison of Palo Alto, CA, niece, Kristina H. Wiggins and husband Justin Wiggins of Rochester, NH, great nephew, Noah Harrison Wiggins.
He will also be remembered by his special friends, Doug, George, Courtney and Clay Stauffer, Randy and Gary Huffer, the lunch group of the Fat Mappers and many others.
Graveside services will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Wednesday, July 1st at 2:00pm with Rev. Tim May officiating.
