Stella Gaylor

Stella Lillian Gaylor, 87, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, May 24, 2021 at her home in Boonsboro, Maryland.  She was the beloved wife of Edward Gaylor, Jr. for 58 years.

Born on June 9, 1933, in Capitol Heights, she was the daughter of the late Joseph  Simpson and Stella Riley (Lare) Simpson.

Stella belonged to the women's auxiliary for several organizations.  She enjoyed playing Bingo, slot machines, working around her home and gardening.

In addition to her husband, Edward R. Gaylor, Jr.,she is survived by her children, Stella Diane Gaylor, Richard Joseph Gaylor and wife Lisa, Pamela Ann LaFleur and husband Hugh, Michael L. Gaylor and wife Janie and Lillian V. Connell and husband Daryl; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one brother Raymond John Simpson.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Charles Simpson and Joseph Simpson, Jr.

A graveside service will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in  Hagerstown, Maryland on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 11AM.
