Stanley Ray, Jr.

Stanley L. Ray, Jr., 77, of Mt. Airy, MD, died December 27, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Margaret A. Ryan.
Born March 29, 1938 in Peoria, IL, he was the son of the late Vivian Ray.
He was retired from the United States Marine Corps having served for 28 years.
Stanley was a life member of the VFW Post 10076 in Mt. Airy. He loved reading, playing cards and the Washington Redskins.
He is survived by his children, Michael and wife, Natalie, Ray of Mt. Airy, Kevin Ray of Portland, OR, Kathleen Ray and husband, David Toms, of Pinellas Park, FL and Stephen and wife, Jackie, Ray of Frederick; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 12 p.m. noon Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Calvary Chapel Frederick, 244A South Jefferson Street, Frederick, MD with Pastor David Ochoa officiating.
The family wishes to invite everyone for food and fellowship at the VFW Post 10076 in Mt. Airy 2 p.m. Saturday following memorial services.
