Stanley A. Grzybowski

Mr. Stanley A. Grzybowski, 84, of Frederick died at his home on Sunday, November 19, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of the late Romayne Grzybowski, who predeceased him on December 4, 2022. 

Born August 12, 1939 in Scott Township, PA, he was the son of the late Stanley John Grzybowski and Helen Julia (Matyjevitch) Grzybowski. 

He worked as a diesel mechanic his entire life and retired from Pleasant Excavating. 

Stanley enjoyed woodworking, scratch offs, and watching Orioles and Nats baseball. Times spent with his family were most precious to him, and he loved his granddog, Danny.

He is survived by five children, Kathy Heaton and husband Duane, Michael Grzybowski and wife Mary Sue, Barbara Snowden and husband David Sr., Stanley Grzybowski and wife Debra, and Richard Grzybowski and Michelle Wivell; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many additional family members.

In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a grandson Stanley A. Grzybowski.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, November 27 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Tim May. 

Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
