Stacey Combs

Ms. Stacey Lynn Combs, 33, of Point of Rocks died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born November 26, 1982 in Silver Spring, she was the daughter of Deryell and Carolyn (Stroup) Combs of Point of Rocks.

Stacey was a 2001 graduate of Brunswick High School. She was a certified medical assistant with Frederick Memorial Hospital for the last 10 years.

Stacey enjoyed vacations with her family, trips to Wildwood, NJ with her girlfriends, and cheering on the Washington Caps. Times spent with her nephew, Colt, were most precious to her.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by three siblings, Heather Combs and fiancé, Robert Shaw; Daniel (Bubba) Combs and fiancée, Rhiannon Roberts; and Megan Combs and fiancé, Kevin Myers; two nephews, Colt Myers and Tyler Nelson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She will be remembered by her work family at Parkview Medical Group and her many friends.

Stacey was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Catherine and Harry Stroup, and Charles and Opal Combs.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where a funeral will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 15. Officiating will be Pastor Dan Housam.

Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
