SHIRLEY WILES

Mrs. Shirley Wiles, 79, of Thurmont, Maryland, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Harlan Leroy Wiles in 2014.

Mrs. Wiles was born May 25, 1936 in Frederick the daughter of the late James Keefer Redmond, Sr. and Lucille Virginia Summers Rose and her step-father William Vernon Rose, Sr.

Shirley was a member of the Frederick Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her home and gardening.

She is survived by five children, Douglas Wiles and wife, Sherree, of Thurmont; Debbie Easterday and husband, Donald, of Thurmont; Dean Wiles and wife, Ludivina, of Gaithersburg; Donna Heinzl of Thurmont; and Don Wiles and wife, Sharon, of Inwood, W.V; seven grandchildren, Diana Yarnell and husband, Craig; Donald Easterday, Jr.; Christopher Wiles and wife, Yuri; Serena O'Brien and husband, Morgan; Kara Heinzl; Brent Heinzl and Molly Wiles; one step-grandson, Daniel Perry;five great-grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren; siblings Geraldine L. Hodge and husband Donald, Connie Rose Stalnaker and husband Wayne and William V. Rose, Jr and a sister-in-law Shirley Suter Redmond and former son-in-law Les Heinzl.. She was preceded in death by a brother James Keefer Redmond, Jr., two grandsons Douglas Wiles, Jr. and Sean Eric Wiles and one step-grandson Matthew Perry.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, Maryland, Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 11:00 am until service time at 12:00 Noon. Her grandaughter Diana Yarnell will officiate.

Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
