Shirley Tressler

Shirley K. Tressler, 83 of Frederick, MD passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at her home surrounded by family.  She was the beloved wife of Lawrence (Larry) W. Tressler for 62 years. She was born on February 14, 1939 in Rocky Ridge, MD.

She was the daughter of the late Carroll and Dulcie Keilholtz.

Shirley is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Brittingham and husband, C.H.; sons, Lawrence Tressler, II and wife, Pam, David Tressler and friend, Shirley, and Bryan Tressler and friend, Charla; nine grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob, Derek, Kayla, Charles, Dylan and wife, Lisa, Jenna, Kyle and Paige. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Shirley was preceded in death by her brothers, William and Robert Keilholtz.

Shirley graduated from Thurmont High School, 1957 and then attended Hagerstown Business College. She was a loving mother, grandmother, soon to be blessed great grandmother and a wonderful cook. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, helping others and spending time at home, to create and share memories with her grandchildren. 

She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Frederick.

A private interment will be at Graceham Moravian Church Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
