Shirley Reese

Shirley Jean Reese, 77, of Sharpsburg, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at her home in Sharpsburg, Maryland.  She was the beloved wife of Price Reese for 41 years.

Born on August 24, 1943, in Tacoma Park, MD she was the daughter of the late Clyde Eugene and Leona Frida (Greeney) Collins.

Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all. She was very devoted to her family and loved spending time with them. In her spare time, Shirley, enjoyed playing bingo and drag racing.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children Bob Talbot and wife Tara and Chris Talbot and wife Virginia; grandchildren Natalie Talbot, Christa Talbot, Tyler Talbot, Derrik Talbot, Collin Wilson and Amanda Shore; great-grandchildren Sophia Talbot, Lily Carper, Alayna Whitsel, Quinnley Talbot, Braden Talbot, Dravin Talbot and Callie Shore; siblings Richard Collins, Joan Batson and husband David, Gary Collins and wife Connie and Karen Collins.

She was preceded in death by her sister Linda Rae Collins and sister in law Pam Collins.

The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 1PM at the Saltillo Cemetery, Saltillo, PA.
