Shirley Hooper

Mrs. Shirley M. Hooper, 80 of Mt. Airy, Maryland, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Northampton Nursing Center.
Born February 26, 1930 in Washington, D., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Irene Parkhurst.
In earlier years Shirley was employed at Giant Foods. She was very proud of her large family.
She is survived by her children Bonnie Deblois and husband Paul, Lola Gilbert, Betty Tough and husband Joe, Edward Skaggs and wife Denise, Harry Skaggs and wife Alma Ruth, Denver W. Skaggs and wife Hedwig and Michael Hooper and wife Leah, 22 grandchildren 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a son Mark Lee Hooper and her siblings Robert and Harry Parkhurst and Mary Bowen.
Services and interment will be private.
