Shirley Hoffman

Mrs. Shirley L. Hoffman, 83, of Rocky Ridge, MD passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond L. Hoffman.
Born November 11, 1931 in Frederick, MD she was the daughter of the late Paul W. and Catharine Hamrick Stull.
Shirley was a longtime member of Creagerstown Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crocheting and doing word searches. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons Paul Lemar Hoffman and wife Beverly of Walkersville and Ray Eugene Hoffman and wife Ellen of TN; four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; brother Paul D. Stull and Sisters Janis Marshall and Nancy Rippeon. A special thank you to her grandson Todd, granddaughter Shelly, daughter-in-law Beverly and friend Karen for their unconditional care.
She is preceded in death by her granddaughter Kristen Hoffman.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 6-8PM where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21 at 10AM.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
