Shirley Harrison

Mrs. Shirley Elizabeth Harrison, 79, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at Glade Valley Nursing & Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Ronald Harrison and her late 1st husband Paul Smith.
Born July 26, 1936 in Yellow Springs, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Garnet Linton.
In earlier years, she worked at Sagners Clothing Factory. Shirley loved spending time with her family, growing flowers, eating crabs, and yard sales. She always enjoyed watching Joyce Meyer and Joel Osteen on T.V. Shirley was also a very good cook.
She is survived by her children Vickie Valentine and husband Franklin of Thurmont and Brian Harrison and wife Jennifer of Frederick, four grandchildren Lacee Valentine, Shawn Harrison, Kyle Harrison and Emilee Valentine and a sister Shelva Remsburg and husband Jim of Keymar; two nieces Sherry Brehm of Thurmont and Teresa Reichard of South Carolina, one nephew Bobby Remsburg of Frederick.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick Tuesday, April 5, from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 am
Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
