Shirley Frye

Mrs. Shirley Mae (Foster ) Frye, 81, of Perry Hall, MD and formerly of Frederick, passed away peacefully at her home,  Tuesday, September 27, 2011, surrounded by her loving family She is survived by her husband of 61 years Charles W. Frye.

Born on November 28 ^th , 1929 in Brunswick, she was a daughter of the late John Foster and Edna (Deaner) Foster Everline. Mrs. Frye was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Frederick . She served as vice principle in Emmitsburg, retiring from the Frederick County School Board after 30 years of service.

Also surviving are four children; Mark W. Frye and wife Gloria M. , Kandy M. Rahochik and husband Thomas A., Marty P. Frye and wife Carolyn T., Kay J. Glisan and husband Dane E., four grandchildren, Kara DeGeorge and husband Robert, Kasey Rahochik, Morgan Crane and husband Justin, Samuel Glisan, one sister, Katy Holzapfel and husband Richard, two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Addison DeGeorge, and one nephew Douglas Mohler and wife Gisele. She was preceded in death by a sister June Mohler.

Family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Saturday, October 1 ^st , from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with memorial services beginning at 7:00 p.m. Private interment will be held in the Old Brownsville Cemetery.
