Sherwood McCormack

Mr. Sherwood J. McCormack, 94 of New Market, MD, formerly of Milltown, New Jersey, died on Sunday June 17, 2012. He was the husband of the late Irene E. McCormack who died in 2003.
Born on October 22, 1917 he was the son of the late Peter and Daisy Crenning McCormack.
Mr. McCormack was a U. S. Army veteran and served during WWII. He was a papermaker for personal products a division of Johnson & Johnson Co.
He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Saylor, son-in-law Robert Saylor, and grandchildren Clayton and Eleanor Saylor of New Market, MD.  He is also survived by three sisters, June Dzielak, Claire Bruen and Shirley Vena all of New Jersey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday June 21, 2012 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy, MD from 11:00am until time of Funeral Services beginning at 12:00pm. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy, MD.
