Sherry Ann Wages

Mrs. Sherry Ann Wages, 59, of Frederick died at home peacefully in her sleep on December 5th, 2008. Born September 29, 1949 in Frederick Maryland.

She was the wife of John L. Wages. They were married 35 wonderful years. Sherry loved to learn and expand her personal growth and was within four months from receiving her Master's Degree as an English Major, nothing was going to stop her from pursing this dream. There wasn't a book that Sherry didn't like.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Robert Klipp of Frederick, Ronnie Wages and fiance Lauren Hart of Brunswick, ,and Brian Wages of Frederick. And two Step Sons Jeffrey Wages and family and Ritchie Kline and family. Sherry had 9 wonderful grandchildren who blessed her life, Ryan Wages, Johnny Wages,Mason Wages, Brian Cannon, Brittany Meek, Christian Klipp, Keirston Klipp, Kyla Klipp and Elijah Crider, by 6 brothers Vernon J. Butch Smith III, Sonny Schildt, Howard Schildt, Charlie Smith, Tom Smith and Jason Smith and 4 sisters Luann Lake, Elsie Schildt, Lisa Snoots and Serina Smith.

She will also be remembered by brother in laws & sister in laws, Bob Wages and family, Becky Wages and family, Kathy Shiflett and family, George Wages and family, Audrey Hershey and family, Ben Rawlings and family and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister in law Barbara Rawlings. In addition to family, she will be remembered by her very special friends and co-workers at FCC & Hood College.

Visitation: The family will receive friends Tuesday December 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 at Stauffer Funeral home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at llam Wednesday December 10th at St. Johns Evangelist Roman Catholic Church 118 E. Second Street Frederick, MD.
Entombment will be at the Resthaven Mausoleum immediately following the service.
