Mr. Sherman P. Fogg, Jr., 79, of Frederick, MD passed away peacefully in the presence of his wife Karen and children Kevin and Karenna Sunday, October 26, 2014 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Karen J. Fogg.
Born on May 15, 1935 in Burlington, VT he was the son of the late Sherman P., Sr. and Betty Farman Fogg.
Sherman worked as a Gym Teacher for Montgomery Co. Schools for 34 years. He was also a gymnastics and swim coach and enjoyed being a lifeguard during the summer. Sherman was an avid Penn State football fan. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Kevin Fogg of Frederick, Karenna Smith of Frederick, Kathryn Cantara and husband Larry of Grassflats, PA and Chris Fogg and wife Donna of VA; grandchildren Brandon Smith, Ashley Smith, Jake Fogg, Jesse Fogg and Dennis Dolan. The family would like to send a special thank you to Debbie Simpson and Kathy Wells.
He is preceded in death by his brother Robert and his sister Sherrie.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 10-11AM where a memorial service will begin at 11AM. Pastor Ed Jordan will officiate.
