Shelly Beth Molesworth Ramirez, 38, of Frederick, died suddenly Monday, December 8, 2008, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was born April 15, 1970 in Frederick, MD.
Shelly graduated from Governor Thomas Johnson High School in 1988, and from Frederick Community College in 1991.
She was the loving mother of Brooke Ashley Molesworth, age 17, and McKenzie Kathlyn Ortiz, age 3 months.
Shelly had a great sense of humor, an infectious smile and laugh, and saw the good in everyone.
She always tried to help others to be their best and wanted to save every animal. Shelly always loved to dance, and we know she is dancing and smiling in Heaven.
Shelly is survived by her parents Linda and Bill Cleveland of Frederick, and Ron and Denise Molesworth of Boonsboro, sister Lori Dembeck of Walkersville, half-sister Heather Molesworth, grandparents George and Catherine VanFossen of Frederick, and grandmother Gladys Molesworth of Mt. Airy.
Shelly is also survived by her former husband Dan Ramirez and her current companion Roberto Ortiz, and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Thursday, December 11, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m
Services: Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 12, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Tim May officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Frederick County Animal Shelter, her two favorite charities.
