Ms. Shelley J. McLane, 38 of Brunswick, Maryland joined her brother Charlie in heaven on Saturday, March 16, 2013.
Born August 10, 1974 in Frederick, Maryland she was the daughter of Dave McLane and wife Diane of Brunswick and Pamela Keeling and husband Pat of Knoxville.
She was full of life and loved by many. She loved her family, frolicking with her friends, all holidays, especially St Patrick’s Day and all things Irish. She was an avid Ravens fan and loved following the NBA especially the Chicago Bulls. Shelley was a 1992 graduate of Brunswick High School where she set numerous records in basketball and received a scholarship to Shippensburg University and later played for FCC.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her sister, Shawn McLane, her brother, Will McLane and fiancé Jackie, paternal grandmother, Evelyn Marie McLane, step brothers, Michael Webber and wife Heather and Alex Keeling and wife Jennifer, step sister, Chiara Keeling, her nephews, Paddy, Graysen, Brody, Gabe and Roman, her nieces, Mikayla, Makynna and Isabelle.
She will also be remembered by her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and her special friends, Kristen Haga, Crystal Ferrell and Julie Crowl, and her special family Alli and Taylor Payne.
She is preceded in death by her brother Charlie McLane, paternal grandfather, Charles D. McLane, Sr. and maternal grandparents, Shelly and Mildred Dawson.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple, Ave. Brunswick on Friday, March 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 23rd at 2:00 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Petersville, MD with Father George Limmer officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery beside her brother Charlie whom she had missed dearly since he was called home.
