Shawn Brann

Mr. Shawn Andrew Brann, 43, of Hedgesville, West Virginia, died suddenly Thursday, December 1, 2011 in Frederick.

Born April 2, 1968 in Wheaton, Maryland, he was the son of Gail Walguarnery Brann of Frederick and the late Herbert Andrew Brann.

Shawn served his Country in the US Army. He received his AA degree in Business from Frederick Community College and also attended Maryland University. He worked for Lowes for 10 years in Frederick and Martinsburg. He was a die hard motorcycle rider and loved cooking for his friends and family.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters Angelica Dennis and husband John of Potomac, MD and Cathleen Ganley of Thurmont, MD, his nieces and nephews Melony Burns and husband Frank, Stone Michael Ganley, Cheyenne Ganley, Hannah Dennis, Jon Michael Dennis,and Joseph Dennis, his close friends Allen Robinson, Hugh Hartman, Stuart Packer, and Toby Campbell. He will also be remembered by many other friends.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Monday, December 5, from 2 -4 and 7 -9 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 6, at 10:30 a.m. from the South End Baptist Church, 506 Carrolton Drive, Frederick with Pastor J. Kenneth Stalls officiating.

Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
