Mrs. Sharon Lee Rejonis, 69, of Middletown passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the loving wife of Donald Lee Rejonis for nearly 40 years.
Born June 11, 1947 in Denver, Colorado, Sharon was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude Cammarato.
Prior to becoming a homemaker, Sharon worked as an administrative assistant for Montgomery College; first with the Nursing Department at the Takoma Park campus and later with the Department of Sociology at the Rockville campus. She attended Frederick Community College, earning an Associate in Arts Degree.
She enjoyed needlepoint, ceramics, crossword puzzles, antiquing, camping and traveling, especially in their motor home to Maine in the summertime. She also looked forward to the weekly services at FCF Church in Frederick.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Michael Rejonis; daughter, Michelle Heck and husband, Michael; three grandchildren, Christopher Heck (Sara Beth), Carrie Doub (Ricky), and Courtney Heck; a great-grandson, Levi Doub; and her brother, John Cammarato.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 15 at the chapel at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, 14205 Pleasant Valley Rd NE, Flintstone, MD 21530.
