Sharon Buige

Sharon Rae Buige, aka RADAR, formerly of Olney and currently of Libertytown, passed away unexpectedly at home on December 22, 2017.

She was the daughter of Anthony Buige and the late Maxine Buige.

A 1977 graduate of Sherwood High School, Sharon received a nursing degree from Montgomery College. Sharon was a loving mother first in life and a traveler. She was looking forward to her son's wedding in Las Vegas She loved Jamaica, fast cars, and rock and roll. She was born on December 31 and thought everyone was always celebrating her birthday. She enjoyed family gatherings in Pennsylvania and Ohio She loved spending time with her 22 cousins and had a special place in her heart for all of them. Sharon had too many aunts and uncles to name. She will be missed, loved and in all of our hearts forever.

In addition to her father, Sharon is survived by her siblings, Poncho Buige and Colleen Runge (John); her children, Jason McEuen (fiancé Morgan), Lauren McEuen, Maxwell Werling (Samantha), Hunter, and Chelsea Cunningham; nephew, Kolby Runge; and her grandson, Luke McEuen.

She was predeceased by her best friend, Tommy Harkins.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 28 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, where a celebration of life service will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 29.

Interment will be private.
