Sharon Marie Beamon

March 11, 1958 — October 10, 2022

Frederick

Sharon Marie Beamon, 64, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 10, 2022, at her home in Frederick, MD.

Sharon was born on March 11, 1958 in Baltimore, at the Hospital for Women of Maryland. She was the daughter of John Edward and Shirley Elizabeth Probst Epple.

Sharon’s childhood education was at Maryvale Preparatory School. She talked of it often and was honored and proud to have been accepted there. She graduated from Dulaney High School in 1976, then attended Towson University majoring in Marketing until 1981, and also received certification from the American Dental Assistants Association in 1985. She loved and worked at Dentist practices for over 17 years in Frederick County.

Sharon lost her mother to cancer when she was 8.  The rest of her life she supported breast cancer causes including completing the Susan G. Komen 3 Day walk in Philadelphia with a group of friends. She loved going to Deep Creek Lake, San Francisco, Napa Valley, Cancun, Disneyworld and New Orleans.
She also enjoyed crafting and working with her hands, especially sewing, polymer clay, cooking, and cross stitch. She was confident tackling new and challenging projects and always kept a never quit attitude. She loved Maryland Blue Crabs and enjoyed them all of her life.

Sharon was proud of her Irish heritage and with the help of her dad had done considerable discovery of her ancestry. She loved her furry pets; chinchillas, bunnies, cats, dogs, and more. In the past few years, her three French Bulldogs were a great joy to her. If asked Sharon would say her greatest achievement was being a mother and MeMe.  She and Paul had a blended family and Sharon loved all five of their children. She was proud to let anyone know she had ten grandchildren that she loved dearly.

In addition to her husband Paul Beamon; she is survived by her two brothers, Jim Phillips (Patricia), Matthew Phillips (Diana); five children, Jessica Thompson (Jon), Tyler Schisler (Lowandres), Doug Beamon (Khris), Julie Goren (Gavin) and Amy Beamon; ten grandchildren, ages 18 to 6 months. Mackenzie, Gabe, Savannah, Charlotte, Jordan, Hailey, Kaci, Zion, Trace, & Liam.

The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Friday, October 14, 2022 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick, MD 21702. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Saint Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, 8428 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702.

Sharon considered St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to be a very respectable charity, and in lieu of flowers, would be honored for any donations made to www.stjude.com in her memory.
