Shane Morgan
July 16, 1977 — June 13, 2015
Shane Austin Morgan, 37, of Martinsburg, WV passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015. He was the loving husband of Kristina Johndrow Morgan.
He was the beloved son of Betty Mae Wiles Morgan of Frederick, MD and the late Douglas Austin Morgan. In addition to his wife and mother, Shane was survived by his two daughters, Kaitlyn Morgan and Allyson Morgan ; Brother Dale Morgan and three nieces, Brenna Morgan, Carolena Johndrow and Mia Johndrow, father in law David Johndrow, mother in law Kimberly Johndrow, brother in law Petty Officer First Class Steven Johndrow and his wife Brittany. Shane will be greatly missed by many, including his childhood friends from Yellow Springs, White Rock and Mountaindale, musicians from several bands he performed with through the years, his Mills Farm family and bike club.
Shane loved spending time with his family on their boat on the weekends at River Bend. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing softball and riding his motorcycle. He was an avid Oakland Raiders and West Virginia Mountaineers football fan. Despite his rough exterior, Shane will be remembered for his loyal heart and contagious smile.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will follow Friday at 10 am. Rev. Tim May will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dale Morgan, Steven Johndrow, Wayne Stone, Bradley Sawyers, Shane Lamm, Chance Giesler, Raymond Daniel and James Radtke. We invite all friends and family to ride their motorcycle for a traditional biker burial to participate in Shane’s last ride.
Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
