Sean Kyrie Rascoe

Mr. Sean Kyrie Rascoe, 20, of Hagerstown, died on Saturday, February 27, 2010, in Morgantown, WV.

Born on February 28, 1989, in Columbia, MD he was the son of Melvin Donell and Benita Cassandra Dixon Rascoe of Hagerstown.

A junior in the engineering program at the University of West Virginia in Morgantown, Sean was a smart, problem solving, happy-go-lucky guy with an infectious smile. He enjoyed basketball and customizing his Mazda6. Sean attended Yellow Springs and Whittier Elementary Schools, T.J. Middle School, and high school at both St. John's at Prospect Hall, Frederick and Montrose Christian School, Rockville.

Surviving in addition to his parents are brothers: Brandon Rascoe of Hagerstown, Melvin R. Rascoe and wife Tracina of Baltimore and Eric Rascoe of Philadelphia, PA; paternal grandmother, Ernestine Rascoe of Windsor, NC.

Visitation: Friends may call from 3-9 PM on Friday, March 5, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick where the family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 PM.

Services: Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 6, at Calvary Assembly of God, 8234 Woodsboro Pike, Walkersville with Rev. Herbert Shackelford of Mt. Olive Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC and his brother, Rev. Melvin R. Rascoe of Alive Again Ministries in Baltimore officiating. Those attending please arrive no earlier than 12:30 pm.

Interment will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 8, in Arbutus Memorial Park, Arbutus, MD.
