Sean Cross

On May 18, 2022, Sean Patrick Cross passed away unexpectedly at his home in Monrovia, Maryland.  He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Mary Anne Paradise, daughters Kerry Ravenelle (Scott), Kelly Cross (Dao), Katie Windsor (Johnny), Kayla Cross (Andrew), bonus sons Dennis (Jessi) and Kurt Worrell, 6 grandchildren (Bubba Sauce) and one expected in August; brothers Mark and Scott (Dawn), and sisters Barbara Cross and Kathy Sampson (Bill).

Born in Washington DC in March 1961, he grew up in Montgomery County, attending Peary and Seneca Valley High Schools where he excelled in both wrestling and football and made many lifelong friends, graduating in 1980.  Sean could talk (and talk!) to anybody and especially loved muscle cars and motorcycles.  He was an unforgettable character and smart as hell, a gifted mechanic and craftsman known for his big heart and big hugs.

Family and friends remember him as the “food pusher”, a fabulous and creative cook who always had an extra plate on hand for someone in need. In memory of Sean, consider making a donation to your local food bank.  A celebration of his life will be scheduled for a future date.
