Scott Randell Bare, 42 of Frederick, MD passed away on September 28, 2009 at the University of Maryland Hospital.

Scott is the son of John and Barbara Bare. He was born on January 30, 1967 in Frederick and lived here his entire life.

Scott attended Frederick High School and graduated in 1985.

As a teenager, Scott was involved in 4-H and FFA, raising Hereford cattle. He enjoyed working for our neighbor, Bill Fouche's dairy farm. He recently was involved with draft horses.

Scott was employed with the family businesses, Reich's Ford Truck and Tractor and H.B. Duvall, Inc.. He could do any task and was always there for his Mom and Dad when needed. Scott's knowledge of farm equipment (especially older equipment) was second to no one.

Scott loved the outdoors. He was an avid deer hunter with his friend Ed Degrange. Scott was an avid collector of antique International (Farmall) farm tractors, equipment and trucks.

The highlight of his collection is a very rare 580 Cockshutt he co-owned with Ervin Albaugh. He enjoyed displaying his collection at shows around the country. Scott enjoyed his trips to Sturgis, S.D. each year with Jim Grimes and Roger Williams. Most recently, he enjoyed working on his farm in Johnsville with Gus Harris renovating ponds.

Scott attended the Great Frederick Fair his entire life, The early morning breakfast with friends each day at Dougherty's was the highlight of the day. He enjoyed displaying his antique collection. And with his special friend Jo Ann Lawson, he enjoyed showing off their back-to-back cart and Percheron horses.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister, Kristen Bare. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, October 2, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

Services: Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 3 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mel Fair officiating.

Entombment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
