Scott Kenji Kishimoto, 48, of Middletown, MD, died suddenly on December 20, 2016.

Scott was born on August 5, 1968 in Honolulu, Hawaii, son of Richard and Pauline Kishimoto. He attended Walkersville High School and graduated in 1986. Following high school he graduated from Towson University in 1992. At the time of his death, he was employed by VMWare, Inc. as a Technical Account Manager.

Scott is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Wendi; children, Tyler, Caroline and Brady; parents, Richard and Pauline; sister, Susan Toy and husband, Harrison; mother and father in-law, George and Marian Evans; sisters-in-law, Traci Nelson and husband, Darrin and Kristi Gordon and husband, David; nephew, Nathaniel Gordon, nieces, Emily Gordon, Jami Nelson, Leta Gordon and Blair Toy.

Although he didn’t have biological brothers, he leaves behind many life-long friends who were like brothers to him. Special thanks to Rich Sigman and Tom Keefe for all of their love and support.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church, 107 West Main Street, Middletown, MD. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kishimoto Kids Fund, c/o Wendi Kishimoto, and mailed to the BB&T Bank, 819 East Main Street, Middletown, MD 21769.
