Mr. Scott Edward Dyson, 37, of Frederick, MD., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 24, 2011, at his residence. Scott was born July 17, 1974, at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland. He was the son of Ray (Steve) and Patricia (Trish) Dyson of Mount Airy, Maryland, and brother to Richard (Rick) of Jessup, Maryland. Scott is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A graduate of Linganore High Scott class of 1992, Scott was employed by Security Vault Works, Inc. for approximately 12 years, and most recently served as a carpenter foreman. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a skilled chef and enjoyed preparing specialty menus for friends and family. While Scott enjoyed spending time with his friends, his greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his young cousin Joey Thornton. Scott’s other interests included carpentry/ construction work, traveling, vacationing at the beach and being outdoors hunting and riding his four-wheeler.
Scott will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. To celebrate Scott’s life, a visitation will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville, Blvd, Mt. Airy on Thursdsay, October 27, 2011 from 7-9PM. Chaplain Hare Varnon will officiate. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 28 at 2PM . In Lieu of flowers or memorial contributions, please join the family in celebrating Scott’s life. If you are unable to attend the service, please take a moment for a thought or prayer in honor of Scott’s life.
