Scott Dennie

Scott Allen Dennie of Frederick, MD passed away on December 13, 2015 at the age of 57. Scott passed at Frederick Memorial Hospital of respiratory failure due to complications from pneumonia.

Scott was born in San Diego, CA on September 7, 1958 to parents William Wallace Dennie, Sr. and Joan Marrie Dennie. Scott's siblings included sisters Wanda and Sandra, and brother William Jr. Scott was born into a Navy family, and they moved around for many years until finally settling in Frederick, MD in 1977. Scott married his first wife, Kim, in 1979, resulting in sons Christopher, Wayne, and Josh.

Scott was predeceased by his parents, his sister Sandra, and his stepdaughter Sarah Jean Shankle. Scott is survived by his current wife, Tammy Shankle, his sons, and his brother. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Olivia, Nicholas, Matthew, and Arthur, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The memorial and funeral will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702 on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will take place beginning at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Wounded Warrior Project.
