Saundra Palmer

Saundra Palmer, 84, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, MD

Born on July 21, 1940, in Brunswick, MD, she was the daughter of William Lee Caniford and Katherine “Elizabeth” Reynolds (Caniford). .

She worked for Safeway for over 30 years, retiring in 2000.

Saundra loved her family more than anything and traveling with her husband, Jerry. In addition to their many travels every year, they spent every winter in Sebring, Florida at Buttonwood Bay.

Saundra is survived by her husband of 35 years, Gerald Palmer, sons Tim Mossburg, Bill Mossburg, and Steve Mossburg (Christy), stepchildren Tim Palmer (Mary Jo) and Dawn Rosarius (Jack), grandchildren Cassie Mossburg, Chad Mossburg (Megan), Emily Mossburg, Evan Mossburg, Zachary Mossburg, Miranda Mossburg and Laura Palmer, and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Lieutenant Paul Mossburg and her mother.

A celebration of Saundra's life journey will take place in late August at Calvary United Methodist Church. Details to follow.
