Sarah Louise Thomas

Sarah Louise Thomas, 66, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at her home.

Born on April 23, 1956, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Charles Onley and Anna May Jackson.

She attended Frederick High School. Sarah worked as a cook for over 30 years with Frederick County/YMCA Head Start.

She loved to cook and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

Sarah is survived by her husband, Douglas Thomas Sr.; five children, Melissa Jackson, Kimberly Dorsey, Shannon Jackson, Colby Jackson, and Myeshia Thomas; many grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many friends and extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Fred), 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.

A celebration of Sarah's life journey will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Fred), 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.   

Interment will be private.
