Mrs. Sarah Marie Lee, 93, died Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Citizens Nursing Home.
Sarah was born on May 18, 1921 in (Lee Co.) Rose Hill, VA. She was a residence of Gaithersburg, MD for many years before moving to Dickerson, MD.
She was a life member of VFW Post 9862 in Gaithersburg, MD, a life member of the Knights of Pythias-Forest Oak Lodge in Gaithersburg and also the American Legion in Rockville, MD. Sarah enjoyed gardening, canning, playing cards, red birds, Chihuahuas and most of all playing bingo.
Survivors include one son Raben Moore and wife Donna of Palm Coast, FL, two daughters Darlene Jarman and husband Ken of Darnestown, MD., and Janice Yuhasz and husband Steve of Shallotte, NC, her longtime friend and companion Jimmie Eye of Dickerson, MD., seven grandchildren Tammy Jarman-Lyles and husband Jermaine of Point of Rocks, MD., Tim Jarman of Martinsburg, WV, Todd Jarman and wife Lauren of Boonesboro, MD, Tonya Jarman of Gaithersbyrg, MD, Stephen and Michael Yuhasz of Fredericksburg, VA, and David Moore, seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. She was the wife of the late William B. Lee who passed away 1985
Graveside services will be held at Parklawn Cemetery, Rockville, MD, Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 1:30 pm.
