Sarah Dinkle

May 5, 1982 — January 28, 2017

Sarah Jane Dinkle, 34, of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on January 28, 2017.  She was born in San Antonio, TX on May 5, 1982.  She was the only daughter of her loving parents, Jane Ellen (Crowe) Dinkle, Owings Mills, MD, and Bryan and Marguerite Dinkle of Frederick, MD.  She was the wonderful granddaughter of Harold and Loberta Staley, near Thurmont, the late Dr. Findlay and Mrs. Ruth Earl Crowe, Silver Springs, MD; and Gladys Martin, Frederick, MD.   She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Brenda and Jeffrey Wright, Frederick, MD; Mark and Anita Staley, Johnsville, Daniel and Paula Staley, Gettysburg, PA; Dr. Ruth Crowe, New York; John Crowe, Manassas, VA; and Christopher Crowe, Oregon.

Special cousins include Bailey and Ali Wright, Frederick, MD,  Anna, Michael, and Luke Staley, Johnsville, MD; George and Dani Staley, Emmitsburg, MD.  She also loved her little cousins Parker and Reagan Staley.  Her large family includes numerous other cousins.

Sarah attended Western School of Technology and Environmental Science for gifted and talented students and continued her education at Frederick Community College.  She studied cosmetology and held several jobs in the area.  She was a voracious reader and loved spending free time reading.  She loved sports and was the star pitcher for her high school softball team.  She was very competitive in anything that she undertook and was usually the winner during family games.  She enjoyed special times camping with her dad and watching NFL games with him. She was looking to spending Super Bowl Sunday with her father.  She also looked forward to family get-togethers and was an avid animal lover.  She worked with many animal rescue programs and frequently brought home rescued animals, much to the chagrin of her mom.  She and her mom had a special bond and both loved animals.  Sarah loved all her family and the times they spent together.

Sarah had a very bubbly personality and easily made new friends.  Everyone will miss her beautiful smile and infectious personality.

A celebration of her life will be held privately with her family.  Services are handled by Stauffer Funeral Home and will be private.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in her name, to the Frederick County Animal Control Shelter, 1832 Rosemont Avenue, Frederick, MD  21702.
