Sarah Grace Bentz on Monday, November 2, 2015 of Thurmont, MD. Born November 29, 1927 in Baltimore County, MD to the late Eva and George Glacken.
Grace worked as a seamstress for 17 years at Claire Frock and then as a custodian for the Frederick County Board of Education until her retirement. She was a member of the Edwin Creeger Post #168 American Legion Auxiliary for over 45 years and the Experience Life Church, Waynesboro, PA.; but Graces's favorite joy was being around her, family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Grace is the beolved wife of the late Bernie Bentz; mother of Vincent B. (Bonnie) Bentz of Thurmont; grandmother of Matthew (Emily), Christopher, Rebekah (companion Robert), Rachael and Sarah Bentz; great-grandmother of Ares and Maribel Grace Bentz; sister of Mary Marie Keckner and the late Margaret Turner, Hazel Topper, John and William Glacken.
Relatives and friends may call at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street, Thurmont, MD on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 10-11 am with funeral service at 11 am. Interment Keysville Union Cemetery.
