Sandy Boyle

Sandy's story from her family:

We are so saddened to share with you the loss of someone so very special to us. Sandy Boyle, mother of Billy (Premier's VP) and Joey (Premier's co-founder, 1975-2016) passed away peacefully in her sleep early this morning with her son by her side.

Sandy was the wife of Bill Boyle for 50 years. Starting out as kids together 52 years ago, parenthood came early for the pair, and their toddler-aged son even accompanied the two at their high school graduation. Bill, now retired from Premier, still acts as a consultant and right-hand man to the company's VP.

She worked for Premier for many years, her business card appropriately titling her an "Executive Badass." She wore many hats, both professionally and personally, and was proud to be considered a "second mom" by many, especially Bob, Premier's President.

Sandy battled serious health issues for many years, which would have defeated most, but not her-she fought hard. In 2016, she was devastated by the loss of her son, Joey, Premier's co-founder. In spite of her heartbreak and the obstacles she faced, Sandy never lost her zest for life. Those who knew her were instantly touched by her nurturing energy and wicked sense of humor. She worked hard to make the most of each day; sharing in laughs with others and going out of her way to make those around her feel loved and cared for.

Sandy, we take comfort in knowing you are at peace and, most importantly, you are once again together with your baby boy-we know how much you longed to be with him when it was time. Thank you for taking care of us, making us smile, and for showing us each day what true strength and selflessness looks like. We will miss you. We love you-always. ❤
