Ms. Sandra Lynn Vail, 44, of Frederick, MD, entered into eternal peace after a period of illness on Monday, July 25, 2011.
Sandra was born on May 29, 1967 in Takoma Park.
She was the beloved daughter of Vernon Lee Vail of Marion, SC and B. Suzan Gallic Vail of Frederick.
She attended Damascus High and High Point High Schools.
She resided in Silver Spring and Rockville and moved to Frederick in 2008.
Sandra worked in the food and beverage industry and most recently as an artist.
Sandra loved her cats: Spaz, Harvey, and Summer. She was an avid reader and talented artist. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family listening to music, watching movies, playing games, and picking MD blue crabs. Her lighthearted and uplifting spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Sandra is survived by her father and mother, sisters Vallery Michelle Vail of Mt. Airy and Tracy Vail Pauter and her husband, Thomas Pauter, of Frederick, nephews Daniel Alain Vail and Andrew Joseph Pauter and niece Francince Marie Pauter and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Saturday, July 30 at 12:00PM where a celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 PM. The Rev. Tim May will officiate.
Interment will be private.
