Mrs. Sandra "Sandy" Kay Thorpe, 55, of Brunswick, Maryland, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013, after a courageous battle with MS for 17 years, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of James Michael Thorpe, her husband of 32+ years.
Born February 22, 1958 in Bethesda, MD, she was the daughter of Gladys E. McNall Holsinger of Silver Spring and the late Ray R. Holsinger.
Sandy was employed at N.I. H., as an administrative assistant for 23+ years. She was a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her siblings James W. Holsinger, Gail Mantzell, Sharon Smith and Daniel Holsinger, twenty nieces and nephews and twenty-seven great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date.
