Sandra E. Jones-Molyneaux, of Frederick,MD died April 3 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born September
12, 1952, in Harlem, NY, she was the daughter of the late Doris M. and James Lexie Saunders, Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Leona Saunders-Peacock, Valerie Garrett, and brother Roderick Saunders.
Sandy graduated from Lewis Brandeis High School and Borough of Manhattan College in New York. In 1996 she moved her family from Bronx, New York, to Frederick, MD. She was employed by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Frederick, MD.
In 1978 she became a Jehovahs Witness and served actively and faithfully, witnessing and participating in field service, until the end of her life. She loved to travel and spend time with family and friends, and especially her grandchildren. Sandy was loved by many as a result of her kind words and loving heart.
She was a friend to all who met her and she touched many lives with her kindness and generosity.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years,Hernando (Frank)Molyneaux of Frederick, MD; daughters Timika Jones-Thrasher and husbandGregory, and Casey-Taniel Molyneaux, all of Frederick,MD; sons, Timothy Jones and wife Jennifer of Omaha, Nebraska, and Troy Molyneaux of Hagerstown, MD; grandchildren, Jordan Jones, Jordan Ballard, Amia Molyneaux , Lexie Jones, Gregory and Rogyn Thrasher; and 53 nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her sister Frances Simms of Hollywood, California.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Oposumtown Pike, Frederick, on
Thursday, April 9 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Kingdom Hall of JehovahsWitnesses 6706 Carpenter Rd., Frederick, Maryland on Saturday, April 11 at 5:00PM.
