Sandra Lou "Sandy" Easterday, 67, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick. She was the loving wife of L. Franklin "Frankie" Easterday, Jr. for 12 years.
Born on November 10, 1951, in Westminster, MD, she was the daughter of the late Richard G. and Eva Lucretia (Fisher) Logue.
Sandy was a dedicated Registered Nurse for more than 40 years and continued caring for others following her retirement. She was an active member of the Heart of Maryland T's of MTFCI for which she served as the Secretary. Additionally, she belonged to the Sugarloaf Mountain Region of AACA and the American Legion Riders. Sandy enjoyed spending her free time cruising Raystown Lake on her pontoon boat, as well as swimming with her grandchildren. She was an avid traveler to warm weather destinations and took pleasure in going on cruises. Sandy was passionate about spending time with friends and family.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her daughters, Heather R. Wise, Megan A. Wise, and Lauren E. Weese and her husband, David; stepson, Michael W. Easterday and his wife, Rachael; stepdaughter, Tracy E. Easterday and her, fiancé Gustavo Jaramillo; grandchildren, Forest R. Koranda, Caurina F. Koranda, Ty F. Easterday, Brady E. Easterday, and Emalie P. Jaramillo; sister, Natalie Ensor and her husband, Leroy; a brother, Richard Logue and wife, Lisa Gail; niece, Ashlee Matthews; and one nephew, Taylor Logue.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy E. "Beth" Logue.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.
A celebration of Sandy's life journey will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11th at Stauffer Funeral Home in Frederick. Pastor DD Adams will officiate. Burial will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery Frederick immediately following the service.
Sandy loved life and her generosity will live on with the gift of organ donation through the Living Legacy Foundation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sandy's honor to Living Legacy at www.thellf.org.
