Sandra Boyer

Mrs. Sandra L. Boyer, 75, of Libertytown, MD., passed away Thursday, October 14, 2010 at her home. She was the wife of Maurice Boyer her husband of 57 years.
Born June 4, 1935 in Tazwell, VA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Belva Seabolt Trent.
Mrs. Boyer retired as cafeteria manager from Linganore High School and then worked for Cuddley Bear Day Care in Woodsboro. In earlier years Sandra and her husband were dairy farmers. She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. Mrs. Boyer enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, camping and going to Charles Town.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children James Boyer and wife Sue of Mt. Airy, Eddie Boyer and wife Beth, Barbara Garst and husband Dick all of Keymar, Donna Bowie and husband Rick of Sunset Beach, NC, Cindy Oxley of Frederick and Sharon Phillips and husband John of Shepherstown, WV, seventeen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, two sisters Shirley Kline and husband Bill and Phyllis Dayhoff and husband Glenn , sisters-in-law Sylvia Burrier and husband Sterling, Betty Brauning and husband Gordon, and Carol Ann Getzandanner and husband Wayne.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville, Maryland, Sunday, October 17, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m., where service will be held Monday, October 18, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Jerry Cline officiating.
All pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren..
