Sammie L. Moore

Ms. Sammie L. Moore, 50 of Frederick, MD., died Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Born November 23, 1958 in Leland, Mississippi, she was the daughter of Bertha Adams Moore of Frederick and the late Robert M. Moore.

Sammie graduated in 1976 from Frederick High School and attended Baltimore Community College. She loved life, dancing and spending time with family. She was a call specialist for Citi Mortgage. Sammie was a beloved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her children Marslince Carleah Fisher, Corrie Lynn Fisher, (like a son) Isiah Moore, grandson Nehemiah Lagrou, brother Tony Moore, Sr. and wife Dana, sister Marslince Marcie Morris and husband Elmer all of Frederick. Special nieces and nephews Tony Moore, Jr and wife Kerron, Anthony Moore and wife Keisha, Brandon Moore, Taris Weedon and Jason Foster, Omar Palmer, and Thea Palmer. She will also be remembered by her many friends.

She was preceded in death by a son Ira C. Gray and her grandparents Annie Belle Adams, Leola Adams, Jasper Adams, Samuel Moore and Daisy Moore.

Services: Funeral services will be held Monday, July 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Stauffer Funeral Home Chapel, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick with The Rev. William H. Graham officiating.
Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
