After graduating from High School in June 1992, Sam married David F. Miner III in January 1993. As a young wife, Sam proudly supported her husband, David, who started his career as a young Airman on active duty in the U.S. Navy. After the birth of their first child, Sam cared for her family through challenging times while David was deployed overseas.
After serving honorably as a Navy wife, Sam attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She pursued her dream in the legal profession working for the U.S. Department of Justice for fifteen years.
Sam had a unique, one-of-kind, personality that shined on everyone she met. She was a kind person with overflowing generosity and compassion that extended abundantly to everyone she knew. Sam had the gift of hospitality and was always looking for an opportunity to help anyone in need.
Sam enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, solving puzzles and mysteries, and participating in outdoor activities. Sam and David could often be seen enjoying a motorcycle ride along a scenic back road or hiking on a mountain trail to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Sam loved life, her family, and she loved her Lord, Jesus Christ, who she is with today. She is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
