Sallie D. (Betson) Wright, 59, a resident of Moran Manor in Westernport, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center in Cumberland, Maryland.
Born on November 17, 1952, in Leesburg, Virginia, she is the daughter of Robert L. Betson, Sr. of Lovettsville, Virginia and the late Violet V. (Howser) Betson.
Sallie is survived by her two daughters, Ginger Betson of Fairplay, Maryland and Lora M. Williams of Frederick, Maryland; a brother, Robert L. Betson, Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Lovettsville; and one granddaughter, Kelli S. Lee of Frederick. She is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
A graveside ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery, 11791 Mountain Road, Lovettsville, Virginia. The Rev. Lee Crosby will officiate. Those who wish, flowers may be delivered to the church on Friday morning.
