Ruth Naomi Smith

Ruth N. (Beans) Smith, 78, of Boonsboro, died on Friday, July 10, 2009 at the Washington County Hospital.
Born on October 2, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Raymond C. and Mary M. (Pryor) Beans.
Mrs. Smith was formerly employed at AirPax in Frederick where she worked for 18 years.
She was a member of the Grossnickle Church of the Brethren in Myersville.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 60 years, G. Glenn Smith; two daughters, Glenna M. and her husband Robert Moncrief of Boonsboro and Carol Ann and her husband James Brown of Frederick; and one son, Ricky Lee Smith and his wife Donna of Charles Town, WV. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by her sister, Rosa Michael.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2009 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. Pastor Tim Ritchey Martin will officiate. Interment will be in the Boonsboro Cemetery.
Friends are invited to visit the funeral home anytime after 9 a.m. on Sunday, July 12, where the family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m.
