Ruth Irene (Moser) Allen

Ruth Irene (Moser) Allen, 84, of King Road in Boonsboro, Maryland, died on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at her son's home in Williamsport.

Born in Boonsboro on October 17, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Lela (Biser) Moser.

Ruth's husband, Dave, died on June 26, 2009.

Mrs. Allen worked most of her life as a farmer on her family's farm.  During the late 1970's and early 1980's she was employed at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie R. and her husband Charlie Beall of Williamsport; her son, Ronald E. Cline of Williamsport; one brother, Elbert (Buzz) Moser and his wife Marlene, of Boonsboro; one grandson, Dustin E. Howe, of Williamsport; one granddaughter, Rhonda J. and her husband Donald Schildtknecht, of Clear Spring, Maryland;  three great-grandchildren, Tara Mills, Donnie Schildtknecht and Brady Eugene Howe; and several nieces and nephews.  Ruth is also survived by her close long time friend Juanita Beall.  The family would like to give a special thank you to Robin Shirley who helped Ruth a great deal during her final days.

In addition to her husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her sister, Carrie Moser; and her brother, Edwin Moser.

Private interment services are planned for both Ruth and her husband at Samples Manor Cemetery in Sharpsburg, Maryland.
