Mrs. Ruth K. Smith, 78, of Mt. Airy died on Friday December 28, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of the late Mack Harlan Smith who died on July 16, 2012.
Born on January 15, 1934 in Minden, WV she was daughter of the late John E. and Birdie Hylton Nester.
Mother of Mark A. Smith of Germantown and Teresa Black and husband Roger of Mt. Airy. Sister of Darrell Hudson Nester of Ravenwood, WV. Sister in law of Barbara Gail Smith of Oak Hill, WV.
Visitation will be held on Thursday January 3,2013 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy, MD, from 6-9pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 4, 2013, at the Lakewood Church of God, 22820 Frederick Road, Clarksburg, MD, 20872 where the family will receive friends from 10:00am until time of Funeral Services beginning at 11:00am. Pastor Randy Dennis will officiate. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to the above named church in her memory.
