Ruth Moore

Ruth Stubblefield Moore, 86, of Frederick, died Friday, September 18, 2015 at her home. She recently moved from Tyler, TX to Frederick to be with her family.
Born July 4, 1929 in Pontotoc, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Bessie (Long) Scott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse D. Stubblefield, March 1994. Her second husband, Robert Moore, preceded her in death November 2014.
She loved to quilt and sew, making more than 100 quilts in her lifetime. She was a devout Christian.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James Crawford Stubblefield and Sandra Dunning of Frederick, Jesse Eugene Stubblefield and Deborah of Jackson, TN; grandchildren, Carrie Boone and her spouse, William T. Boone, III of Chapel Hill, NC, Harmony Farner and her spouse, Kenneth Farner of Upper Falls, MD, Jesse Matthew Stubblefield and his spouse, Theresa Stubblefield of Columbia, MD, William Eugene Stubblefield of Jackson, TN; great-grandchildren, Lilyana-Grace, James Crawford and Christian Lee Stubblefield all of Columbia, MD, and Huckleberry and Magnolia Ruth Boone of Chapel Hill, NC.
A family service will be private.
