Ruth Heffernan

Ruth M. Heffernan, 92, of Bedford, PA, died on Friday, August 27, 2010 in Bedford, PA. Born on May 21, 1918, Ruth was a native Washingtonian until her marriage to the late William A. Heffernan. During their life together, Mr. & Mrs. Heffernan resided in Kensington, MD, Potomac, MD and Frederick, MD.

Mrs. Heffernan is survived by her son Gary of Bedford, PA, her grandchildren Maureen of Hanover, PA, Bridget of Fairfield, PA and Andrew of Herndon, VA and her great grandson Gavin Kacpura of Hanover, PA.

Visitation will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opposumtown Pike, Frederick, Maryland on Monday, August 30th from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Rev. Joseph Rogers on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 1:30pm in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel in Silver Spring, MD
