Russell Owen Leigh, III, 74, of Taneytown, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Transitions Healthcare Sykesville, LLC in Sykesville, MD
Born on January 9, 1945, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Russell Owen Leigh and Eunice Viola (Hale) Leigh.
He was the loving husband of the late Jacqueline Ann Leigh of 47 years.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his son, Russell Leigh, IV and wife Joanne. He is also survived by grandchildren, Tyler and Austin Leigh.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 8 East Ridgeville in Mt. Airy, MD.
A celebration of Russell's life journey will take place at 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 8 East Ridgeville in Mt. Airy, MD. Rev. Tim May will officiate. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD.
