Russell Roberts, Jr.

Mr. Russell E. Roberts, Jr., 56, of Brunswick passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at his residence. He was the husband of Lana D. Roberts, his wife of 35 years.
Born on May 25, 1959, in Frederick, he was the son of Shirley "Annamae" Stokes of Brunswick and the late Russell E. Roberts, Sr. He was at one time a Trackman with CSX and was currently an AA Mechanic with Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority. Russ was a 1977 graduate of Frederick High School. He attended Strong Tower Christian Church where he sang in the choir. Russ enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are sons: Reese Roberts, Justin Roberts both of Brunswick, and Jeff Greenwood of Frederick, grandchildren: Alexa Roberts, Jayden Roberts, Lewis Roberts and Alyssa Davis; two sisters: Lettie Carter and husband Mike, and Breena Williams and husband Clay all of Brunswick.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM on Thursday, January 21, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick where services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 22, with Pastor Darren Gerald officiating.
Interment will take place in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
